This comprehensive documentary offers a detailed look at the pioneering Los Angeles punk group X. Led by singer/bassist John Doe and vocalist Exene Cervenka, the band added tinges of country and rockabilly to its revved-up sound, and gained a devoted following, particularly in its hometown. The film features interviews with all four members of the ensemble as well as live performance clips, including fan-favorite songs such as "White Girl" and "Johny Hit and Run Paulene."
