Program Director- Adam Sekuler
Adam Sekuler is a filmmaker and film programmer living in Seattle Washington. He is currently program director for Northwest Film Forum and the Seattle International Film Festival’s Alternate Cinema program. He is co-founder of Search and Rescue, a program dedicated to preserving and presenting discarded collections of 16mm films. He lived in Minneapolis for ten years and is extremely indebted to Sound Unseen for offering him the opportunity to continue to contribute to Minnesota’s vibrant film culture. Currently Sekuler is working on a feature length stop motion silent dance film, which he hopes to premiere in 2008.
If you could be any cartoon character who would it be and why?
Jonny Quest was always a favorite. I found it a great primer for James Bond films.
If you could have any super power, what would it be?
The power to change world leaders at will.
